    Carl Poole is a Senior Manager at Ørsted with more than 20 years of experience advancing environmental strategy, renewable energy development, and sustainable infrastructure across the United States. His career spans government, private industry, and consulting, equipping him with a broad perspective on delivering large-scale energy projects while balancing environmental stewardship and community impact.

    At Ørsted, Carl supports the business operations of both the offshore and onshore renewable energy portfolios by leading environmental permitting strategies and working across teams such as Corporate Affairs to strengthen agency relationships and advocate for policies that advance environmental protection, energy security, and equitable economic development.

    Carl also serves as the lead of Ørsted’s Race & Ethnicity Employee Resource Group, where he and co-leads drive initiatives that foster inclusion and representation within the workforce. His commitment to environmental and social justice extends beyond the workplace through his membership in Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., and participation with community organizations that champion grassroots engagement, economic fairness, and community-driven solutions.
