    Matt Ruza is Vice President of Commercial Development at FlexGen, where he leads strategic growth initiatives in battery energy storage and grid-scale solutions. With more than 20 years of experience across the energy and power sectors, Matt has built a reputation for delivering customer-focused, commercially viable solutions that bridge engineering, operations, and business strategy.

    Prior to joining FlexGen, Matt held leadership roles at major industry players including Eaton Corporation, Tesla Energy, and IHI Terrasun, where he led cross-functional teams spanning sales, engineering, and business development. He brings deep expertise in battery energy storage systems (BESS), along with a strong background in electrical distribution, controls, hardware, software, and services.

    Matt is known for his ability to translate complex technical capabilities into scalable commercial opportunities, helping accelerate the transition to a more resilient and sustainable energy future.
